These are pictures taken by Dr. Ellyn Cavanagh while teaching in Kabul, Afghanistan from July to October, 2003 and February through April, 2004. It is hoped this website will find viewers among the Afghan society but also among citizens of the international communities to bring them to the plight of families in a war-ravaged and poverty-striken country.
