Ellyn Cavanagh (afghan) > Prevention. These children share a garbage dump with two goats - rummaging through for items of interest. This was taken in one of the "better neighborhoods". Opportunities for reliable food sources, education and play areas will prevent the foraging, spread of disease and risk of injury. Ellyn Cavanagh (afghan) > This is the triplet family: 10 year-old sister and 3 year-old brother, Mom and grandmother. They brought the babies back to seek assistance with feeding them - same old story - hard economic times, no money to buy formula and mom can't keep up w/ breast-feeding three. $20.00 was donated to grandma, along with a Mormon package of clothing, blankets. If any of you send me money, I will feature the family I give it to. They are VERY appreciative.
